Contest Overview
Enter the Spiders of the Web photo contest on Preferred Pest Control's Facebook page for a chance to win a $25 gift card to one of these local businesses: La Mie Bakery, Smitty’s Tenderloin Shop, Charlotte's Kitchen, Monarca Gourmet Paletas.
Entry Submission
Submit your original spider-related photos on the Preferred Pest Control Facebook page, or enter by commenting your picture on our social posts. Please provide a short description of the image, such as where the spider was found or what you were doing while you found it. There is no limit to the number of photos a fan can submit. Photo entries can include spiders, webs, spider Halloween costumes, drawings, etc.*

Winner Selection
Preferred Pest Control's staff will select four winners on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023. The winners will be based on the photo's caption, creativity and quality. Winners will receive a $25 gift card to a designated local Des Moines business.
Winner Notification
Contest winners will be announced October 31st via the Preferred Pest Control Facebook page. Our team members will reach out to ask the winners to send their name, photo submission and address to info@preferredpest.com to claim their $25 gift card. We will not use your information for any efforts other than this photo contest. Prizes will be mailed directly to the winners or can be picked up at our office in Urbandale if you prefer.
Eligibility
The contest is open to Preferred Pest Facebook fans and local followers who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. There is no entry fee. The contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any state or local jurisdiction have not been complied with. The contest is not open to employees of Preferred Pest Control.
Contest Duration
Fan photos will be accepted starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 through Friday, October 27th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. The final winners will be announced Tuesday, October 31st, 2023.
Terms and Conditions
All photos must be the original work of the entrants and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. Preferred Pest reserves the right to remove fan photos from its Facebook page and contest consideration if the content of the photo does not promote the core values of the business. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
*Please do not compromise your safety when capturing photos of real spiders.
