As an Iowa State University graduate Entomologist, Brad built the business with a strong understanding of all insects and pests and has used his expertise over the years as a frequent resource for media interviews, expert witness testimony for court trials and identifying pests found by customers. That knowledge has been passed down to our entire team, and now, two of Brad’s sons have joined the business operation.

Responsibilities of a pest technician include managing a daily route to complete appointments, building and maintaining customer relationships, applying chemicals in and around buildings, creating diagrams and graphs to show infestation details, being able to work independently and more.
- Office Assistant - We work as a team at Preferred Pest Control and treat each employee AND our customers right! Our office assistant position is a full-time opportunity responsible for managing and processing daily reports, tracking monthly projects, scheduling and routing customer appointments, communicating with customers, supporting our field staff by phone and routing software, and cross training with other team members. Previous customer service experience is required.
